HISTORY

The 800 head cow herd has been in the making for 20+ years. Every cow was born and raised on this ranch. They are predominantly black and red angus breeding. Our cows are usually 98% bred every year. This is due to our outstanding vaccination and mineral program as well as good feed and a very natural cow ranch. These are gentle, well mannered, and easy to handle cattle. All calves are identified at birth, in the spring when the calves are 1 to 2 months old they are gathered for branding, castration and 3 vaccinations as well as treated for parasites.

Our calves are sold to be delivered in the fall when they are 6 to 8 months old. We sell them privately, on the video or at public auction. Steer calves weigh well over 600lbs each year. Heifer calves are of replacement quality and are often sold to people who keep them for cows. The 2011 calf crop is presently for sale. Anyone interested may contact us.
